The team in the Pre-School room work towards making our educational programme stimulating, responsive and mentally appropriate for your child's needs.
Children will be encouraged to learn with enthusiasm as they develop their own talents and individuality along with self esteem.
We work towards the 'Foundation stage' covering the following six areas of learning.
-Communication,language and literacy development
-Mathematical development
-Physical development
-Creative development
-Knowledge and understanding of the world
-Personal, social and emotional developmentOur children are prepared for school in this room, this is done by giving a good foundation through our structure and planning.
The children are encouraged to learn through play, experimenting with role play amongst other numerus activities.
Liaisons with parents are through talking to them as they arrive and depart the Nursery and also through parent evenings that are held throughout the year.
We also send home topics to be carried out in the home environment, thus keeping parents in touch with our ongoing topics within the Nursery.
