In our Pre school we take care of children from the age of 3 to 5 years. We operate a ratio of one member of staff to eight children. The staff in the Pre school are Trudy and Jen. Trudy is one of our original members of staff when we first opened over ten years ago and Jen has been with us for over two years.
In the Pre school we aim to work towards the 'Foundation stage'. This is the first stage of the national curriculum.
Activities are divided up into the six @stepping stones' which are;
- Personnal development
- Mathematical development
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
- Creative development
- physical development
Within this unit there is an extensive range of educational equipment.
Our activities are designed not only to stimulate and educate your child for when they go to school, but also to bring a great deal of enjoyment into your child's day.
